TAMAN AYUN - ROYAL TEMPLE
Taman Ayun Temple situated in Mengwi Village is the second largest temple complex in Bali, the largest being Besakih Temple. Built on high ground and surrounded by a wide moat. 1. WHITEWATER RAFTING

Try not to accept the first price offered, as most vendors charge 30%-50% extra. You will get value for money, if you are prepared to spend time, and smile, when bargaining. Although tempting, try not to make any major purchases for the first few days. Look around, take your time, bargain hard and then buy. What to buy and where? In the tourist hub of Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Sanur, and Ubud, almost everything is available. Many small villages specialize in certain craft, such as : Celuk Village for gold and silver work, Mas village for woodcarving, Ubud, Kamasan, Batuan for Painting, Tohpati for Batik etc..And actually seeing the craftsmen at work will make your purchase all the more special. A definite must for all shoppers is the road from Denpasar to Ubud – a 20 km stretch with antiques, stone and woodcarvings.
